At some point you stopped asking what you actually want.
Eleven days on the coast of Baja California. A small group, the open water, and the one question you have been putting off for years. On 27 November you have the answer. Written down, in your own handwriting.

02 Why you are here
From the outside everything looks right. So why does it feel like this?
You function. You deliver. People rely on you, and you do not let them down. And still there are nights when you lie awake at four in the morning thinking: is this really it?
You have read the books. You have done the courses. You know the theory better than most. For a few days it feels good, then Monday comes and covers it all up again.
That is not your fault. These questions need more than an evening on the sofa. They need distance, time, and people who carry the same question. That is exactly what these eleven days are.
You know exactly what you no longer want
What should come instead stays vague. And as long as that picture is missing, every plan stays a note in a drawer.
You have tried before
Started on Monday, life got in the way by Wednesday. After three weeks it was as if nothing had happened. That wears you down.
Everyone knows what would be good for you
Your partner, your children, your colleagues, the internet. Over the years your own voice has become the quietest one in the room.
03 The outcome
On 27 November you board the plane knowing what you will do on Monday.
Not that warm feeling that lasts three days and then evaporates. Something you can hold in your hand and use.
You know your strengths
Not the ones on your CV. The ones other people have seen in you for years and you never took seriously.
You know where you are going
A picture concrete enough to describe to someone in two sentences. In your words, not in the words of a self-help book.
You have the first steps
Three things, in order, with dates. Small enough that you will actually do them. Big enough that something moves.
And we do not leave you alone afterwards. Follow-up support is part of the retreat, because the first weeks back home decide whether anything lasts.
04 What to expect
Work on yourself. And the ocean, which takes care of the rest.
Mornings are for the work, or for going out to sea, because the water is calmest then. Afternoons belong to the beach, the sessions and to you. The two belong together, because after an hour beside a whale shark, questions are suddenly easier to answer.
Mindshift in the morning
Guided sessions on your why, on the patterns that hold you, and on what really drives you. Exercises and lectures, not talks to sit through.
Breathwork
With Kathi. Guided breathwork reaches places talking cannot reach. Plus a 9D session with Janice that takes the process one layer deeper.
Yoga and breathing
With Kathi, sometimes on the beach, sometimes at the house. For every level, even if you have not done anything for ten years.
One-to-one coaching
Your time in private. This is where what grows in the group becomes concrete, and where your plan takes shape.
The group
Twelve to fourteen people, no more. Small enough that everyone is seen, big enough for real exchange.
Beach walks and quiet
Long walks along the shore, time for yourself, evenings by the fire. The part everyone underestimates and everyone talks about afterwards.
05 The encounters
There is a moment when your mind simply goes quiet.
You slip into the water, and an animal larger than your car glides past beside you. It looks at you. And suddenly the things that have been occupying you for months fall into very clear order.
That moment cannot be explained, only lived. Two boat trips are a fixed part of the retreat. One goes to the whale sharks and the sea lions, the second heads out into open water.
What we meet out there is nature's decision. Sometimes whales, sometimes dolphins, sometimes rays. We choose the best possible conditions for every trip, because calm, shallow water decides how much a day out there gives you. We promise you the trip, not the animals. Anything else would be dishonest.
And this matters: getting into the water is an offer, never an obligation. You decide again each day. From the boat you see everything just as well, and many people stay on board the first time and are first in the water the second.
In the water, most people find exactly what they actually came for.
06 A day with us
A rhythm, not a timetable.
We deliberately do not fix clock times. Weather, sea conditions and the group set the pace, and that is exactly the advantage of a small round.
Only two times are fixed: we welcome you in the late afternoon of 16 November, and we say goodbye on 27 November after breakfast and one last unhurried beach walk. We chose these dates so that arrival and departure fit comfortably into the day.
Early
Sometimes on the beach, sometimes at the house. Arriving in your body before your head starts up.
Morning
Freshly cooked, regional, unhurried.
Late morning
On trip days we usually head out in the morning, when the water is calmer. Otherwise the morning is the working time on your own themes.
Midday
Siesta, sea, time for yourself. That is part of the programme too.
Afternoon
Depending on the day. We place the one-to-one coachings in between, whenever it suits you.
Later
Usually the most intense session of the day. On the beach or at the house, depending on wind and light.
Evening
One long table, together, without rushing.
Night
Entirely optional. And usually the part everyone remembers.

Mindshift and coaching
Christiane Gensel
"Anyone who knows me knows that I laugh a lot and loudly. That is my trademark." A trainer, coach and mentor for over 30 years, she has worked with more than 30,000 people, 14,000 of them in her own online coaching. Her foundation is movement science, together with nutrition and mindset. She has trained instructors for Robinson and AIDA and spent 15 years as a Polar educator. In 2003 she lost her company, in 2016 she came through the insolvency and started again. That is why she knows what it feels like to begin at the very bottom and keep going anyway.
Co-founder and Mindshift
Wolfram Kuhlmann
Co-founder of Dreamworkers Unlimited. With more than 30 years of experience in sales and negotiation, he has coached almost 2,000 people. Sales leadership, building sales organisations and coaching were his core strengths, which he brought to well-known German companies. As a mathematician and computer scientist he treats complex life situations analytically, and a moment later he dissolves a stuck, highly emotional situation because he sees the people inside it. That mixture, and a great deal of heart, led him to his new philosophy: expect the unexpected, trust the process, everything is possible.
Breathwork
Janice Fairley
Certified breath therapist, trained with Breath Masters and InnerCamp, and since 2023 one of the world's first licensed 9D breathwork facilitators. Mother of four grown children. She came to the breath because she needed it herself. Today she works through rebreathe.live; with us she leads a 9D session that gives the transformation another layer of depth.
Yoga and breathing
Kathi Heusel
"I am still learning every day. And what I share comes from my own experience." She combines yoga, breathwork, time in nature and work with horses. Founder of Rebearth in Cabarete, a name made from rebirth and earth. With us she leads yoga and breathwork every day.
Kitchen and care
Dr Elizabeth Montaño
Born in Mexico, a citizen of the world, in love with beach life. A veterinarian and geographer, today running her own catering business with a clear love of organic, regionally sourced ingredients. She cooks with devotion, plays volleyball and loves to dance. And she reads tarot.
On site
And the group
Twelve to fourteen people carrying the same question. In our experience the part that lasts longest: connections that outlive the retreat.
09 What is possible
Everything begins with a thought and ends in real manifestation.
"Expect the unexpected, trust the process." Those are my guiding principles. As you can see in the pictures, real transformation is possible.
If your why is big enough, the how comes by itself. It is a process that leads to real, lasting change only when it is decided from the heart.
I am looking forward to meeting you.

10 Your place
Twelve places. And that flight wants booking.
One price, everything included except the flight.
Your place
6,900 €per person in a shared double room, flight not included
You come on your own and share a room. We find you a suitable room-mate from the group, always of the same gender.
Coming as a pair, as partners, friends or sisters? There are separate terms for that. Payment in instalments is possible as well. Write to us and we will find the way that works for you.
One sentence is enough. We sort out the rest in conversation.
If you come alone you share a double room. We put the rooms together ourselves and take care that it fits, same gender of course. Single occupancy on request; the number of beds is limited.
The first step is a conversation, not a shopping cart.
Twelve people spend eleven days very close together. Who is in the room decides everything. That is why there is no buy-now button here, but a conversation.
Get in touch
By WhatsApp or email. One sentence is enough: I would like to talk about November.
We talk
Thirty to forty-five minutes, honest in both directions. We also settle how you would like to pay.
Your place is held
You receive the registration form and the invoice, then the full handout with the schedule, travel details and packing list.
Payment is by invoice. Everything else we discuss personally, and we find solutions. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance as soon as you have booked.
Do not forget the flight: 16 November arrives faster than it feels right now. The sooner we talk, the calmer your journey will be.
11 Common questions
What do I need to bring?
Besides summer clothing, above all things for the water: a wetsuit, short or long, snorkel and mask or swimming goggles, reef shoes and reef-safe sunscreen. Plus a sun hat or cap and a light windbreaker for the boat, because it can get fresh out on the water. You will get the full packing list after booking. The most important thing, though, is on no list: openness and the will to change. And the trust to let yourself into the process.
Do I need to be fit or have yoga experience?
No. Every session is adapted to the group, and you decide for yourself at each point how far you want to go.
Do I have to get into the water with the animals?
No. Swimming with whale sharks and sea lions is an offer, not a condition. You can watch everything from the boat, which is just as impressive. You decide again on every trip, with no explanation needed.
How do I get there?
You fly to Los Cabos, San José del Cabo. And the timing works out well: in the 2026/2027 winter schedule Condor flies nonstop from Frankfurt on Mondays and Fridays, about 13 hours. Our retreat begins on a Monday and ends on a Friday, so you can travel there and back without changing planes. Alternatively you can route via Mexico City or the USA, in which case you will need an ESTA. You book the flight yourself, ideally early, because there are only two nonstop departures a week. On 16 and 27 November our transfer runs at 50 € each way, so 100 € per person for both journeys; at other times we arrange a separate one for you.
Who will I share a room with?
We arrange that ourselves, and we take our time over it. Rooms are always shared with someone of the same gender, and we look at who fits with whom. From many retreats we know that this is often where the longest-lasting friendships begin.
Can I have the room to myself?
We stay in double rooms and the number of beds is limited. On request we will look into single occupancy and tell you the terms in conversation.
Do I need vaccinations?
No special vaccinations are required for this trip. International health insurance is a condition of participation.
Will we really see whales?
Two boat trips are a fixed part of the retreat, one of them to the whale sharks and sea lions. What we meet out there is nature's decision: sometimes whales, sometimes dolphins, sometimes rays. We look for the best possible conditions for every trip, because calm water decides how much a day out there gives you.
I have food intolerances.
Tell us in advance and we will take it into account. We cook ourselves, in our own kitchen, with our own cook. That is exactly why we can accommodate you, unlike a hotel buffet.
What happens after the retreat?
Follow-up support is part of it, because the first weeks back home decide whether anything lasts. If you want to keep working more intensively, coaching can follow on afterwards.
How does payment work?
By invoice, paid by bank transfer. Everything else we discuss personally, and we find solutions.
What if I have to cancel?
If you find someone to take your place yourself, your place transfers to them at no extra cost. Hence our strong recommendation: take out travel cancellation insurance as soon as you have booked, and make sure the programme costs are covered.
I am coming alone. Is that odd?
Most people come alone. By the second day the group knows each other, by the fourth friendships have formed that outlive the retreat. In our experience that is the part everyone underestimates beforehand.
12 The first step
Eleven days in November. And afterwards you know where you are going.
Write us one sentence. We will sort out everything else in conversation.
